When the Hwuluduen 'Red Cherry' officially reaches maturity, we begin to explore ways to unlock even more possibilities. The newly discovered variety, 2187, might just be the answer. It offers an earlier blooming period.
在台灣中部,「2187」最早可以在12月初開始紅色文心蘭的花期,接著在2月開始紅櫻桃接力持續到次年的3月。這意味著你可以在此期間再看到紅色花朵大量盛開。且「2187」有著好的耐熱性與易於成長的特性,這代表對於環境有非常好的適應力。比起原本的紅櫻桃,「2187」的花色更明亮鮮艳。
In central Taiwan, 2187 can start its red Oncidium blooming season as early as the beginning of December. Following this, the red cherry blossoms continue blooming from February until March of the following year. This means a continuous display of red flowers throughout this period. Additionally, 2187 exhibits excellent heat tolerance and robust growth characteristics, making it highly adaptable to various environmental conditions. Compared to the original Red Cherry, the flowers of 2187 have a brighter and more vivid coloration.
